Privacy policy
Effective date: 29 October 2026.
Kesia is a personal expense tracker by Anton Lyapov (the developer). This policy explains what happens to your data. In short: nothing is collected.
No data collected
The developer collects no data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no tracking and no accounts. The developer runs no server that receives your data.
Where your data lives
Your accounts, transactions, budgets and settings are stored in a database on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync (iOS only, off by default), the data is also stored in your own private iCloud container, under your Apple account. The developer cannot read it.
Network requests
Kesia makes two kinds of network requests only:
- Exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank rates). The request contains only currency codes and a date. It contains no amounts, no identifiers and no personal data.
- Optional iCloud sync, handled by Apple, only when you enable it.
Face ID and biometrics
If you enable the app lock, Face ID or other biometrics are checked on your device by the system. Kesia never receives biometric data.
Backups and CSV files
Backup and CSV files are created on your device. They leave it only where you choose to save or share them.
Children
Kesia collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
